The Democratic Party (DS) of Serbia has assessed that White House administration representative Richard Grenell is not competent to comment on peaceful protests in Serbia, just as Aleksandar Vučić is not competent to respond to student demands.

The DS recalls that Grenell stated that it is always important to raise your voice and be heard, that everyone must condemn violence and that the democratic process must be respected.

“We do not support those who undermine the rule of law, or those who violently take over government institutions. If you don’t like the law or the leader, work to change them, but don’t resort to violence,” Grenell said on the X network.

Democrats believe that the only conclusion that can be drawn from this is that he is criticizing a regime that undermines the rule of law and collapses institutions, and that the regime’s tabloids are giving this news importance because it is obvious that Vučić’s regime no longer has a foothold anywhere.

“But the most important thing is to say that he is not in charge. Just like Vučić. The students are right,” the statement said.
