Buducnosti Water Polo Team Competes in Their First Official Match
A new chapter has been added to the history of the Budućnost Swimming and Water Polo Club.
This summer, the residents of Podgorica established a senior team that will compete in the regional A1 league, and they played their inaugural official match tonight at the SC “Morača”.
The match was a friendly against Mornar from Split, which ended with a score of 13:11 in favor of Mornar.
Buducnost is set to play its first A1 league match on October 11 against Vukov from Belgrade.
Matija Brguljan led Aleksandar Aleksić’s team with the highest score, netting four goals, while Goran Grgurević contributed two. Neđo Baštrica, Petar Brnović, Danilo Stevović, Vučina Popović, and Mlađan Janović also found the back of the net.
The roster for Budućnost included: Nemanja Baćović, Neđo Baštrica, Uroš Vučinić, Petar Brnović, Danilo Stevović, Vučina Popović, Marko Bošković, Igor Uskoković, Goran Grgurević, Matija Brguljan, Danilo Savović, Mlađan Janović, Mihailo Ivanović, Vladan Vukićević, Andrija Aleksić, and Andrej Durutović.
