Several Injured as ODT Reports Minor Involved in Overtaking Incident

Last night, a traffic incident on the Bijelo Polje-Prijepolje main road in Nedakusi resulted in injuries to several individuals, two of whom sustained serious injuries.
The accident involved four vehicles.
Minors from Bjelopolje, KH (16) and Mirnes Hajdarpašić (26), incurred life-threatening injuries, leading to their urgent transport from Bijelo Polje General Hospital to the Clinical Center of Montenegro (KCCG) in Podgorica after treatment.
This information was confirmed to “Vijesti” by officials at Bijelo Polje General Hospital.
“KH and M. H., treated at our facility, suffered critical injuries—KH an epidural hematoma and M. H. a subdural hematoma,” stated the Emergency Unit of the Bijelo Polje General Hospital to “Vijesti.”

The Basic State Prosecutor’s Office (ODT) in Bijelo Polje reported that the incident occurred around 23:15 on Svetog Petra Cetinjskog Street, in Nedakusi.
“The collision happened when the minor driver of a Volvo passenger vehicle, which had no license plates and was traveling from Bijelo Polje towards Barski Most, attempted to overtake a Ford Kuga driven by HR, resulting in a collision with a Golf driven by MH coming from the opposite direction. The Volvo then struck a Passat driven by VD behind the Golf in the same lane,” the statement detailed.
According to the Bijelo Polje Police Department, both the driver of the “Volvo” and the “Golf,” MH, were injured and later transported to the KCCG in Podgorica.
“The on-site investigation was conducted by the on-duty prosecutor, along with traffic experts and authorized police officers from the Bijelo Polje Police Department,” the statement concluded.
