Berane Police Discover Gas Pistol, Ammunition, Knives, and Metal Baton on Minor; Knife Confiscated from Rožajac

The police in Berane have discovered a gas pistol with 30 rounds of ammunition, two knives on one minor, and a metal bat on another minor, as well as a knife on 21-year-old VZ from Rožaje, according to today’s announcement by the Police Directorate (UP).
“While executing planned activities in schools and their surroundings, officers from the Berane Security Department – Police Intervention Unit confiscated a knife from VZ (21) in the city center. Additionally, they found a gas pistol with 30 rounds and two knives with one minor, along with a metal baton from another minor,” the statement details.
The UP indicated that statements were taken from these individuals at the police station for documentation purposes.
“The state prosecutor from the Basic State Prosecutor’s Office in Berane was informed of all findings, noting that the discovered gas pistol and ammunition are related to a misdemeanor under the Weapons Act, and a misdemeanor charge will be filed against the minor,” concluded the UP statement.
