Prime Minister Milojko Spajić has supported the idea that Montenegrin citizens should boycott supermarkets and other grocery stores due to high prices.

He shared a survey on the Iks platform from a user named “Išćućah” who asked whether this should be done following the example of Croatia.

“After just one day of boycott, Croatian supermarkets heard the message and significantly lowered prices. Do you think that we in Montenegro should also organize and, say, boycott all supermarkets, as well as other grocery stores, next Friday?” the poll states.

“Yes,” Spajić wrote, sharing this poll.

He was also supported by Jelena Nedović, an MP from the Europe Now Movement.

“Like brothers, Croats. Let’s lower the prices,” she wrote alongside Spajić’s post.
