Long-time sports worker Božidar Vuksanović passes away

Longtime Sports Professional Božidar Vuksanović Has Died

Božidar Vuksanović, a dedicated figure in the world of sports, has passed away at the age of 66 in Podgorica, as reported by the Montenegrin Olympic Committee (MOC).

Vuksanović distinguished himself as a karateka, earning the prestigious title of top athlete in Montenegro.

According to the MOC, “He holds world and six European medals in karate, served as president of the Boxing Association of Montenegro, and was a member of the MOC Board of Directors for several terms. He was instrumental in introducing the concept of Olympism to Montenegro.”

Details regarding his funeral will be shared at a later time.

In addition to his sporting achievements, Vuksanović held the position of Secretary for Sports in the Municipality of Podgorica and served as a MP for the DPS in the Montenegrin Parliament…
