Memphis triumphed on the road against Minnesota with a thrilling 127:125 finish, where Ja Morant shined in the closing moments of the game.

Morant first leveled the score after Rudy Gobert missed his free throws with 70 seconds remaining, then capitalized on a turnover by Randle to put Memphis ahead by two points with just 18 seconds left.

Following a timeout called by Kris Finch, Minnesota attempted to respond, but Anthony Edwards’s shot fell short.

The Timberwolves managed to regain possession, prompting Finch to call another timeout; however, Edwards missed a three-pointer that could have clinched the win.

Jaren Jackson Jr. led the way for Memphis with 33 points and eight rebounds, while Desmond Bain contributed 21 points, Jalen Wells added 13, and Ja Morant finished with 12 points (5/15 for two, 0/4 for three, 2/2 from the free-throw line).

For Minnesota, Donta DiVincenzo stood out with 27 points, 10 rebounds, and seven assists, Jaden McDaniels had 21 points, Naz Reed scored 19, Julius Randle contributed 18 points, alongside eight rebounds and eight assists, and Anthony Edwards added 15 points (4/8 for two, 0/5 for three, 7/7 from the free-throw line), with five rebounds and six assists. Rudy Gobert chipped in with 12 points.

In another matchup, Miami emerged victorious, thanks in large part to Nikola Jović’s impressive performance with 21 points and eight rebounds.

Phoenix and Detroit both secured wins on their home courts, with the Suns led by Booker and Durant, while Detroit showcased Hardaway and Cunningham, who achieved a triple-double with 22 points, 17 assists, and 10 rebounds.

The results were as follows:

Phoenix – Utah 114:106 (Booker 34 – Markkanen 24)

Detroit – Toronto 123:114 (Hardaway 27 – Quickly 25)

Minnesota – Memphis 125:127 (DiVincenzo 27 – Jackson 33)

Portland – Miami 98:118 (Simons 28 – Hero 32)
