In mid-September of last year, the Budućnost Voli players delivered a remarkable performance against Mornar in Bar at the kickoff of the AdmiralBet ABA League season. Back then, in “Topolica,” they won by a staggering 47 points (98:51). Tonight, in “Morača” during the 16th round of the second half, they celebrated another resounding victory of 110:79, achieving their 14th triumph in the regional league.

Budućnost maintained their impressive streak in the regional league, marking their seventh consecutive win and their tenth victory in the last 11 matches. This success sets a positive tone for the upcoming pivotal match against Hapoel from Tel Aviv, scheduled for Wednesday (19) in Podgorica, as part of the Eurocup’s 15th round.

The outcome of the game was effectively determined in the first quarter; Budućnost surged ahead 11-0, allowing their first points after four minutes, and concluded that period with a dominating 24-point lead at 33-9.

Fletcher Magee shone in “Morača” during the first quarter, netting 14 points without missing a shot from the field.

Azubuike also got a chance in the game, spending 15 minutes on the court and contributing eight points during that period.

The standout player for Budućnost was Magee, who finished with 19 points. Ferrell added 18 points to the total, while Omić chipped in with 17 points.

For Mornar, Smith was the top scorer with 18 points.

In the next round of the AdmiralBet ABA League, Budućnost will travel to face Split, while Mornar will host Crvena Zvezda.
