He Should Face the Ultimate Consequence

Ažurirano: 26.02.2025. 15:07h

Following the ruling from the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Milorad Dodik, the President of the Bosnian entity Republika Srpska, remarked in Banja Luka that he had been “sentenced to their s….e, their prison for a year.”

The Court of BiH has sentenced Dodik to a year in prison along with a six-year prohibition on engaging in political activities.

“We must remain positive; I’m sentenced to their s….e, their prison for a year. They claim I’m guilty, yet the people here will assert I’m not. There’s nothing to be concerned about; I’ve faced tougher challenges, and we will overcome this one as well,” Dodik stated.

Dodik faces accusations for endorsing presidential decrees that validate two unconstitutional laws of the RS, which the High Representative had annulled. These laws pertain to the non-implementation of decisions made by both the Constitutional Court of BiH and the High Representative concerning the RS territory.

He conveyed a message to the High Representative of the International Community, Christian Schmidt, insisting that “our people understand,” while raising his middle finger in a provocative gesture.

“When you encounter Schmidt, instruct the police to detain him and expel him from here. He doesn’t deserve to move freely on Serbian land; he should be chased away with stones. He initiated the violence, and we have the right to defend ourselves, which we will do relentlessly. No one will persecute you for standing up,” he declared.

He added that his political motive is singular: to prevent “the distorted will of those individuals from Sarajevo who are not true Muslims.”

“True Muslims are good people, but they are influenced by political Islam, which nudges them toward a form of radicalism we often see among their politicians. No Muslim in Republika Srpska should encounter any issues. Any Serb who acts against Muslims will not have my support,” he emphasized.

Dodik mentioned he received calls from Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić and Hungarian President Viktor Orban.

“Vučić assured me of his support for Republika Srpska and us. Long live Aleksandar Vučić. Orban shared similar sentiments. I urge Vučić to visit Banja Luka tonight or tomorrow so we can discuss our plans,” he stated.

He remarked that they regarded the Court of BiH’s decision as a political maneuver.

“This serves as a basis for political action. The Bosnia and Herzegovina you envisioned no longer exists. We are still proposing a constitutional Bosnia and Herzegovina. You have a limited timeframe to accept this constitutional framework; delaying this will not be an option. Today, we will convene in the Assembly to make crucial resolutions that will reject this process in court. Throughout the day and night, we will introduce several laws, the first prohibiting the prosecution’s operations in the RS, followed by a ban on the operation of the BiH court within the RS, another barring the High and Judicial Prosecutorial Council at the BiH level, and establishing the High Prosecutorial Council of the RS. Additionally, we will legislate on the operations of SIPA in the RS and impose a ban on the intelligence service’s activities within the RS,” Dodik stated, among other comments.

Dragana Lukač, a member of the SNSD Main Board, expressed that Dodik “requires no defense.”

“We are here to defend the institution of Republika Srpska and its presidency. Those aiming to dismantle it understand precisely why they target the foremost among us. Once they strip our institutions—the president, the government, the parliament—there will be no Republika Srpska left. Why did we fight? What was our purpose if it wasn’t to safeguard our own? We remain prepared to defend our own. We must never jeopardize our institutions or trade them away. Anyone opposing our institutions stands against the Serbian people,” Lukač concluded.
