The Budućnost Voli basketball team is set to face Hapoel Tel Aviv tonight (19) in the 15th round of the Eurocup. Ahead of the match, the Podgorica club is urging fans to support the team respectfully, refraining from insults towards the opposing team and referees, as well as from throwing objects onto the court.
“We appreciate our dedicated fans for creating a fantastic atmosphere and providing unwavering support in previous matches, all without any incidents. We would like to remind everyone that the club is under the Eurocup’s watchful eye, and a warning remains in effect, with potential fines ranging from €30,001 to the closure of sections or all of the stands,” stated Budućnost.
The club has also announced that individuals who violate the competition rules will face penalties and legal action, in collaboration with security and police forces.
“We request your patience at the entrances as the security service will conduct thorough checks upon arrival at the venue. Please cheer for our blue and white team respectfully, avoiding insults towards the opposing team and referees, as well as refraining from throwing objects on the ground. It’s all for the club,” concluded Budućnost’s statement.
