Nikola Jokić is breaking records in the NBA. The Sombor center notched a triple-double (10 points, 14 rebounds, and 10 assists) in Denver’s 118-99 victory against Dallas. By his eighth assist, it was evident that he was on the verge of a remarkable achievement.

He has become the quickest player in NBA history to accomplish 15,000 points, 7,500 rebounds, and 5,000 assists.

Jokić reached this milestone in just 709 games; the previous record was held by Larry Bird, who achieved it in 799 games.

Additionally, Jokić is now the second center in NBA history to reach 5,000 assists, following only Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
