The Jadran water polo team secured a victory against Hungarian side Vašaš tonight in Budapest, winning 14:6 in the third round of Group C of the Champions League.
This marks the Herzegovinian team’s first win this season following two defeats against Marseille (13:11) and Barcelona (16:8).
Leading the team to victory was Dmitri Holod, who scored five goals. Danilo Radović and Strahinja Gojković contributed two goals each, while Uroš Vučurović, Jovan Vujović, Danilo Stupar, Aleksandar Ivović, and Matija Sladović each netted one goal.
For the Hungarian team, the players who scored twice were Benće Batori and Roland Gašt.
