The leader of the Democratic People’s Party (DNP) and a Montenegrin lawmaker, Milan Knežević, declared today his commitment to advocating for the rights of Serbs in Montenegro to attain dual citizenship, as well as for the Serbian language to receive equal recognition in the Montenegrin constitution.

As reported by Radio Television of Serbia (RTS), he made this announcement during a gathering in Sremska Mitrovica, which was organized to commemorate Serbian Statehood Day under the theme “We Meet at Sretenje”.

“Vojvodina is Serbia. Kosovo is Serbia. Montenegro and Serbia are the closest brothers,” emphasized Knežević.
