Rovčanin Guides Jedinstvo to a Third-Place Finish in the EPCG Super League

With a decisive 3:0 victory (25:16, 25:23, 25:16) over Mornar, the Jedinstvo volleyball team secured third place in the EPCG Super League standings, earning them the top seed in the upcoming play-in round where four teams will vie for a spot in the semi-finals of the playoffs.

Jedinstvo delivered an impressive performance against a contender who had serious aspirations this season and notably enhanced their roster. However, Mornar only managed to challenge their rivals closely in the second set, where they scored 23 points, positioning them to enter the playoffs as the fourth seed.

Milan Rovčanin made a significant impact in his first match back in Bijelo Polje, showcasing his value to the team. As Jedinstvo’s main scorer, he racked up 16 points, while Stefan Bugarin contributed to the victory with 13 points. On the opposing side, Stefan Radević matched this performance with the same number of points.

The conclusion of the league phase has set up the playoff matchups: Jedinstvo will face Galeb, while Mornar will compete against Sutjeska.

The team that prevails in the first two-legged matchup will advance to the playoff semi-finals to take on Budućnost, while the winner of the second two-legged matchup will confront the reigning champions, Budva.
