Chicago Ends Five-Game Losing Streak with Victory Over LA Clippers in NBA
The Chicago Bulls triumphed over the Los Angeles Clippers with a score of 112-99 on Monday night, breaking a five-game losing streak in the NBA.
Zach Levine led the Bulls with 35 points, marking his 109th career game scoring at least 30 points, which ties him with Bob Love for second in franchise history.
Josh Giddy contributed 18 points, along with 10 rebounds and nine assists for the winning team, while Taylen Horton-Tucker also scored 18 points. Nikola Vučević added 14 points, eight rebounds, four assists, and three steals.
The Clippers’ four-game winning streak came to an end, with Norman Powell leading the team with 27 points. James Harden scored 17 points while also providing 10 assists and grabbing five rebounds; both Terrence Mann and Derrick Jones scored 12 points each. Notably, starters Kawhi Leonard and Ivica Zubac were absent from the game.
The New York Knicks faced off against the Atlanta Hawks, winning 119-110 and snapping their three-game losing streak. Jaylen Branson led the Knicks with 34 points and six assists, while Mikel Bridges added 26 points. The New Orleans Pelicans managed to defeat the Utah Jazz 123-119 in overtime, securing their fifth win in the last six games. CJ McCollum was the standout for the Pelicans with 45 points, six of which were scored in overtime, alongside eight rebounds and four assists.
Dejonte Murray pitched in with 26 points, 11 assists, and nine rebounds, while Trey Murphy added 24 points and seven rebounds. The Pelicans made a remarkable comeback from a 25-point deficit, the largest in their franchise history, marking their fourth consecutive victory.
