Another individual linked to the Skaljar clan, Milovan Sekulović, has been arrested under the directives of the Special State Prosecutor’s Office (SDT) on suspicions of involvement in the 2019 murders of Serbian nationals Filip Marjanović and Vukašin Gošović in the Jelenak area of Danilovgrad.

Authorities are also actively searching for Ivan Čarapić from Škalja in connection with the same case.

Following Sekulović’s arrest, officers from the Special Police Department are conducting searches across various apartments and houses in different regions of Montenegro.

The SDT has charged Sekulović with forming a criminal organization and committing aggravated murder through assistance.

On Saturday, Goran Milašinović and Milan Brajović were detained at the entrance of the Spusk detention facility, suspected of being co-perpetrators in the murders of two Serbian citizens.

According to information from the SDT, this criminal enterprise was originally established by the late Alan Kožar and Mile Radulović, also known as Kapetan, with its members including the deceased Damir Hodžić, along with various unidentified individuals.

The SDT has stated that Marjanović and Gošović were executed in harsh retaliation for the murder of Baranin Zijad Nurković in Spain, who was a close ally of Kožar.

It has also been claimed that the crime took place in June 2019:

“Alongside concealing their remains,” the SDT asserts.

The Special State Prosecutor’s Office (SDT) confirmed Sekulović’s arrest and that they are actively seeking I.Č.

“Following orders from the Special State Prosecutor’s Office, the Special Police Department detained MS on the basis of suspicions that he committed offenses related to the establishment of a criminal organization, aggravated murder through assistance, and illegal possession and carrying of weapons and explosives,” the announcement indicated.

They also reminded that Brajović and Milašinović had previously been detained in the same case, suspected of having committed offenses related to the establishment of a criminal organization and aggravated murder.

“The Special Police Department has submitted criminal charges against all detained individuals, as well as against I.Č., who is currently at large, for specific criminal offenses. The detained individual will be brought to the special prosecutor for interrogation within the mandated time frame, while others, after being questioned, have been remanded in custody following the proposal of the special prosecutor,” the SDT reported.
