The police in Tivat have initiated a criminal complaint against a 48-year-old Russian citizen, KT, on suspicion of the crime of evasion, according to the Police Directorate (UP).

According to the UP, it is believed that in November 2024, after being entrusted by another Russian citizen to repair a BMW X3 vehicle, KT sold it to a third party for €2,000 through an intermediary.

Following efforts to locate the vehicle, authorities discovered it with the buyer in Kotor. Police records revealed that KT had departed Montenegro by boat from the Luka Tivat border crossing.
