This morning, roads in Montenegro are wet and slippery, with reduced visibility, as reported by the Automobile and Motorcycle Association of Montenegro (AMSCG).

The association has issued a warning regarding icy conditions in higher areas and over mountain passes.

It is advised that drivers exercise caution, especially on roads that run along gorges and ravines, where minor landslides may occur.

Traffic on the regional road Đurđevića Tara – Mojkovac is halted for all vehicles in the Sokolovina area due to a rockfall, part of rehabilitation efforts at this critical point.

On the M-2 main road, traffic is suspended for all vehicles on the Ribarevina – Poda and Poda-Berane sections from 11 AM to 2 PM and from 5 PM to 7 PM.

In the locality of Zaborje – Jasenovo Polje on the main road Plužine – Jasenovo Polje, traffic will be disrupted from 10 AM to noon and again from 12 PM to 1 PM.

Owing to the reconstruction of the R-29 Bar-Kamenicki most Krute road, traffic will be halted from 11 AM to 1 PM and from 4 PM to 6 PM.

Due to construction at the Cetinje-Čevo road intersection, traffic on the M-3 highway from Podgorica to Cetinje will change from two-way to one-way, with temporary suspensions not exceeding 15 minutes.

Changes have also been made to the traffic regime on the Lepenac-Ribarevine main road, shifting from two-way to one-way, with possible temporary stops lasting no longer than 30 minutes at the work site.

The traffic pattern has shifted on the Nikšić-Vilusi main road, specifically on the Nikšić-Kuside section, due to the ongoing reconstruction of the Autobaza bridge.

The AMSCg has reminded drivers that the Law on Road Traffic Safety mandates that from November 15 to April 1, vehicles navigating through winter conditions (like snowfalls or icy roads) must be equipped with winter tires on all wheels.

The minimum tread depth required for tires during this season is four millimeters.
