The Prime Minister of Montenegro, Milojko Spajić, extended his congratulations to the handball team for their victory against Romania in the second round of the European Championship.

The “Lions” triumphed with a score of 27:25, and Spajić remarked in a Facebook post that coach Suzana Lazović is making a strong case for her candidacy as the minister of defense.

“The Lionesses have given us another moment of joy at the European Championship and are on a promising path to advance to the next stage. We were thrilled by another remarkable performance, particularly in defense, which indicates that coach Suzana Lazović is seriously considering her candidacy for the minister of defense position,” Spajić wrote.

Montenegro is set to face the Czech Republic on Tuesday at 20:30 in the final round of the first stage.
