This morning, most roads in Montenegro are dry, although icy conditions may exist in higher elevations, according to the Automobile and Motorcycle Association (AMSCG).

Drivers are advised to proceed with caution, particularly on roads that run alongside gorges and ravines because of the potential for minor landslides.

Traffic on the regional road Đurđevića Tara – Mojkovac has been halted for all vehicles in the Sokolovina area due to a rockfall as part of the ongoing rehabilitation efforts at this critical point.

On the main M-2 road, vehicles are not allowed to travel on the sections Ribarevina – Poda and Poda – Berane from 11 AM to 2 PM and from 5 PM to 7 PM.

As for the reconstruction of the regional road R-29 Bar-Kamenicki most Krute, traffic will be suspended between 11 AM to 1 PM and from 4 PM to 6 PM.

On the M-3 highway, the Podgorica – Cetinje section has switched from two-way traffic to one-way. Temporary stops for up to 15 minutes may occur due to construction work at the Cetinje-Čevo intersection.

Due to ongoing reconstruction work on the Lepenac-Ribarevine main road, the traffic system has changed from two-way to one-way, with possible traffic disruptions not exceeding 30 minutes.

The traffic system in the Sozina Tunnel will be one-way from 10 PM to 6 AM, with brief interruptions likely for equipment maintenance and fan servicing.

Changes have also been made on the Nikšić-Vilusi main road specifically on the Nikšić-Kuside section due to the Autobaza bridge reconstruction.

AMSCG reminds drivers that, according to the Law on Road Traffic Safety, from November 15 to April 1, vehicles must be equipped with winter tires when roads are snowy or icy. All wheels must have winter tires, with a minimum tread depth of four millimeters during this period.
