A new boycott of stores is planned for Friday and Saturday.

The citizens’ organization Alternativa, which is spearheading the boycott, urges residents to refrain from shopping at large supermarkets for these two days in an effort to pressure owners into reducing prices.

For those needing to shop, they suggest opting for smaller stores with fewer than ten employees.

They clarify that they are not endorsing any calls to boycott specific chains promoted by certain individuals on social media.

“Our objective is to designate next Friday and Saturday as boycott days, urging the people of Montenegro to avoid large supermarkets. Last Friday served as a trial run, which yielded positive results, and now it’s time for action,” stated Zarija Pavicevic from the NGO Alternativa Crna Gora in an interview with Television Vijesti.
