Deputy Prime Minister Ivanović Participates in AI Action Summit in Paris
The Deputy Prime Minister for European and Foreign Affairs Filip Ivanović attended the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Action Summit in Paris, France, on February 10 and 11, 2025, at the invitation of French President Emmanuel Macron.
This prestigious event, organized under the auspices of President Macron and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, gathered global leaders, representatives from international organizations, scientists, industry executives, and AI specialists to explore the future of artificial intelligence.
The summit underscored the necessity of international collaboration in creating an open, secure, and inclusive framework for the development and application of AI technologies. Participants stressed the importance of unified efforts in establishing security standards and transparent protocols to safeguard citizens and promote the sustainable growth of the digital economy.
Throughout the summit, Deputy Prime Minister Ivanović attended a high-level dinner hosted by President Macron at the Élysée Palace, along with the plenary session at the Grand Palais.
Participating in this summit has enhanced Montenegro’s global cooperation and fostered the exchange of insights regarding digital transformation and AI security. Through this involvement, the Government of Montenegro reiterated its dedication to engaging in worldwide initiatives aimed at the safe and ethical advancement of emerging technologies, as stated by Ivanović.
On the margins of the event, Deputy Prime Minister Ivanović held brief meetings with the following leaders:
- Nikol Pashinyan, Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia;
- Alexander Schallenberg, Federal Chancellor of the Republic of Austria;
- António Guterres, Secretary-General of the United Nations;
- Alain Berset, Secretary General of the Council of Europe;

- Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; and
