The Sutjeska football team secured the second position at the 35th “Andrija Anković” Memorial Tournament held in Gabela.

Managed by Milija Savović, the team, which typically sharpens their skills during this tournament at the end of January and early February, faced a defeat in the final against the local squad GOŠK with a score of 2:0.

Before reaching the finals, Sutjeska triumphed over Zrinjski, the tournament’s main favorite, in the semifinals by winning a penalty shootout after the match ended in a 1:1 draw in regular time.

The lineup for today’s match featured Vukčević – Milić, Nikčević, Aničić, Arbelo, Đinović, Miljanić, Đurković, Pavon, Kecojević, and Damjanović. The following players came on in the latter part of the match: Pajović, Šaletić, Kopitović, Krstović, Janjić, Kalezić, Tošković, Barke, and Miranović.

Sutjeska’s goalkeeper Stojan Vukčević was recognized as the tournament’s best goalkeeper, while Todor Miljanić stood out as the youngest player of the event.
