Students from Belgrade spent the night camping on the playground in Inđija and are set to resume their protest march towards Novi Sad at around 9:00 AM.

They departed from Belgrade yesterday to lend their support to fellow students in Novi Sad, who have planned to blockade all bridges in the city tomorrow, February 1st, marking three months since the tragic incident at the Novi Sad Railway Station.

Upon reaching Novi Sad, the students intend to lay 15 roses at the site of the accident that occurred at the Novi Sad Railway Station on November 1st last year, where 15 lives were lost and two others were critically injured due to a canopy collapse.

The students commenced their 80-kilometer journey on Thursday at approximately 10:30 AM from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade, taking breaks in Batajnica, Nova Pazova, and Stara Pazova, before arriving in Inđija around 3 PM.

As previously announced, they are scheduled to take a break at 12:15 PM near Čortanovac, and will halt around 3 PM in Sremski Karlovci.

Interior Minister Ivica Dačić indicated on Tuesday that police will ensure complete security along the student march route from Belgrade to Novi Sad, which will be supported by ambulances and a tanker truck providing drinking water.
