Ridiger Sustains Injury to Right Thigh Muscle

Antonio Rudiger, a player for Real Madrid, has suffered a thigh muscle injury in his right leg, as announced by the Spanish club today.

The German defender was substituted in the 15th minute during the match against Espanyol, which ended in a 1-0 defeat for his team.

This season, Rudiger has made 35 appearances for Real Madrid since joining from Chelsea in 2022.

Currently, Real Madrid sits at the top of the La Liga standings with 49 points. In the Champions League, they have advanced to the knockout stage, finishing in Xth place after the group phase of the competition.
