Over 206,000 Vehicles Have Traveled the Highway Since the Start of the Year

Since the start of this year, the Princess Ksenija Highway has seen 206.16 thousand vehicles, as reported by the Monteputa website.
In total, 2.87 million vehicles utilized the highway last year, while 2.29 million traveled it in 2023, and 1.14 million in 2022.
The priority section of the Bar-Boljare highway was officially inaugurated on July 13, 2022, and opened for traffic the next day.
During the first week, tolls were waived. After that period, fees are set at 1.5 euros for motorcycles, 3.5 euros for passenger cars, and 17 euros for trucks and buses.
The initial segment of the highway spans a total of 41.5 kilometers, featuring 20 bridges along the primary route, nine bridges on interchange ramps, two overpasses, eight underpasses, 7.2 kilometers of concrete barriers, and 16 double-tube tunnels.
This section includes four interchanges with toll plazas connecting to existing state roads: Smokovac, Pelev Brijeg, Veruša, and Mateševo.
The maximum speed limit on this highway is set at 100 kilometers per hour.
