Last weekend, several Montenegrin volleyball players showcased impressive performances across Europe. Milutin Pavićević excelled in his game for Karađorđe, while our “Slovenians,” Ćinćur and Rovčanin, also delivered strong displays. Furthermore, Bojić once again reached double figures in the Turkish championship.

In the Serbian Super League’s 15th round, Milutin Pavićević was among the standout players, scoring 28 points. Unfortunately, despite leading twice, his team, Karađorđe, fell to Jedinstvo from Stara Pazova with a score of 3:2 (22:25, 25:23, 20:25, 25:22, 15:12). Nikola Vujović contributed 20 points, but it wasn’t sufficient for Karađorđe to move up the standings, leaving them in fifth place with nine wins and six losses.

Crvena zvezda, under the guidance of Ivica Jevtić, suffered their second consecutive defeat in the same round, losing 3:1 to Takovo. Meanwhile, the top team, Vojvodina, also faced a setback, getting defeated by Subotica in a close match of 3:2.

In Turkey, Marko Bojić’s Turšad had a challenging match against Halknabank, the second-best team in the Efeler League, resulting in a 3:0 loss. This match marked the 15th defeat for Bojić’s team, which also succumbed to Alanya 3:1 over the weekend, with Bojić scoring 13 points in that game.

In Slovenia, Alpacem Kanal, featuring Matija Ćinćur, is performing well, currently holding their second position in the playoffs after a solid 3:0 victory over Triglav in Kranj. Ćinćur contributed 10 points with a remarkable 57% attack success rate.

Milan Rovčanin also shined in the second-tier league in Slovenia, helping his team, Šoštanj, secure important victories in the playoffs. During a home game against Atos, he scored 13 points, and followed that with 17 points in an away win against Ljubljana, achieving an impressive 61% attack success.

In the Croatian Super League, Mladost Zagreb secured another victory, dominating Rovinj 11:3 in the opening round. Đorđe Jovović played the first two sets, while young talent Nikola Đurović participated in the third.

Vukašin Cimbaljević had limited action in Ribola Kaštela’s new victory against Sisak, which ended in a 3:0 score. In a thrilling match, national team player Srđan Petrović made an impact, scoring six points in Marsonia’s comeback victory of 3:2 in Split.

Another representative, Jovan Delić, continues to shine with Medžik Ajs Domaljevac in Bosnia and Herzegovina. His team triumphed over Radnik 3:0, with Delić scoring 11 points and achieving a 52% successful attack rate. Domaljevac is now tied for first with Napredak, whom they will face in an upcoming decisive match.

The Montenegrin duo in the Czech Republic, Blaž Milić and Nemanja Peruničić, continue to seek their first win. Usti faced yet another defeat, falling to Pribram 3:0, with Milić contributing three points and Peruničić scoring one, as their team languishes near the bottom of the standings.

In Romania, Craiova remains in good form, with Bojan Strugar contributing modestly during a thorough victory over Štinc from Bucharest, scoring two points in the third set. This win secured Craiova’s third place in the league ahead of the playoff quarterfinals.

In the Middle East, coach Marko Joksimović and Al Sad experienced a 3:0 defeat against Al Ahli in the Qatar League. Meanwhile, junior national team coach Darko Prebiračević made his debut with Qatar Sport, leading them to a 3:0 victory in his first match against Al Khor.
