Budva Volleyball Team Kicks Off Preparations for the Upcoming Season
The volleyball players from Budva have commenced their preparations for the upcoming season in Ivanjica. Over the next two weeks, the team will focus on enhancing physical fitness and coordination to ensure they are fully equipped for the challenges they will face on both domestic and international fronts, as stated by the club.
This season promises to be one of the most challenging in recent years. In addition to their effort to defend their domestic championship title, the Budva team will participate in the regional MEVZA league and compete in the CEV Challenge Cup on the European stage.
The initial test for coach Miljan Bošković’s squad is scheduled for September 3rd, when they will go up against the current Serbian champions, Radnički, in a friendly match. This encounter will present an excellent opportunity for the coaching staff to evaluate the team’s current state and readiness.
“We are entering a new season filled with challenges. We have an exciting domestic championship ahead, followed by MEVZA and European competitions. We started training yesterday in Ivanjica, where we will remain for the next two weeks. I am confident that this year we will invest maximum effort and collectively achieve all our goals. The emphasis is on quality training and developing promising players. I truly believe in them, and this period is the perfect chance to prove themselves,” said coach Miljan Bošković.
