The Greek water polo team secured their second consecutive victory at the World Cup tournament held in Podgorica.

After defeating Serbia the previous night, they displayed their prowess against Australia this evening, winning decisively with a score of 20:5.

Greece dominated early, leading 8:0 by the second quarter, and at halftime, the score was 10:1…

Alexandros Papanastasiou was a standout player, netting five goals from five attempts, while Dimitrios Nikolaidis contributed three goals.

Currently, Greece holds the second spot on the leaderboard, sharing the same points as Serbia but boasting a superior goal difference.

The Australian team remains the only squad in the tournament without any points and will face Montenegro tomorrow at 17:30.
