A Berane Resident Arrested in Budva on Suspicions of Street Drug Dealing.

Authorities in Budva have apprehended V.Đ. (27) from Berane on charges of street-level drug trafficking.
According to the Police Directorate, the Anti-Drug Unit, in collaboration with the Higher State Prosecutor’s Office in Podgorica, initiated a case referred to as “Mango”, which includes criminal charges against V.Đ. and B.Ć (36) from Budva.
“In the context of this case, officers from the Budva Security Department conducted a search of the apartment and other locations associated with V.Đ. (27), who resides in Budva, on suspicions of involvement in street drug trafficking. During this search, a mobile phone was confiscated, believed to have been utilized in these illegal activities. The criminal complaint against V.Đ. also implicates B.Ć. (36), who is currently serving a prison sentence in the Republic of Serbia for narcotics distribution,” the police stated.
Additionally, two misdemeanor charges have been filed against two individuals for violations under the Drug Abuse Prevention Act.
V.Đ. has been placed in custody for a period of up to 72 hours.
