All is set, Nikola Krstović has landed in Bergamo, where he will undergo medical tests today and finalize his contract with Atalanta.
The player representing the Montenegrin national team is heading to the Apennines, joining a squad that will compete in the Champions League this season.
As highlighted yesterday by Fabricio Romano, Atalanta is set to pay Lecce a primary fee of 25 million euros, along with additional bonuses, for this acquisition.
Krstović is departing Lecce after two years, during which time he made 70 appearances, netting 20 goals and providing seven assists.
For the Montenegrin national squad, Krstović has recorded six goals over 24 matches.
Roma, Napoli, and Leeds expressed interest in the Montenegrin forward, but ultimately Krstović concluded that Atalanta and Bergamo were his optimal choices.
