The coach of the “Starovore” team, Mladen Jokmanović, expressed his satisfaction:
“We demonstrated that we are a strong foundation for the national team and once again brought home the only gold and the most medals for Montenegro. Importantly, the national team finished 5th in the overall standings of nations in Europe, which is a significant accomplishment. Jovanović and Janković performed excellently, though we regret not having a senior European champion once again this year. I must especially highlight the impressive bronze performance of Nikola Perović (-94 kg) after facing the seasoned Hungarian competitor, Šekeres. I believe she will shine brightly at the World Championships in Thailand. I congratulate all national team members on their outstanding performances,” said Mladen Jokmanović.
