Spanning from the southern shores of Lecce to the northern town of Bergamo, Nikola Krstović is set to join Atalanta as their new striker, awaiting formal announcement.

According to reports from Italy, the Montenegrin player is now in Lombardy, having completed his medical examinations and even took the time to sign autographs for fans who were eagerly awaiting his arrival in Bergamo.

Among the admirers present was a cheerleader waving a Montenegrin flag.

Krstović departs from “Via del Mare” after two successful seasons, in a transfer deal worth €25 million plus additional bonuses.

During his time with Lecce, the former player of Zeta, Red Star, and Dinamika Streda appeared in 70 matches, netting 20 goals and providing seven assists, becoming the standout performer for the Salento side as they secured their place in Serie A last season.

With his new team, Krstović will face stiffer competition as “La Dea” aims for a top league finish and anticipates upcoming matches in the Champions League.
