The OTP Group Buducnost women’s handball team has been placed in Group A for the upcoming EHF Champions League season, alongside Norwegian Storhamar, Metz, Győr, Borussia Dortmund, Esbjerg, Gloria Bistrica, and Debrecen.

This arrangement was made during the draw held in Vienna, where Bojana Popović’s team was seeded in the third pot.

The league consists of two groups, each containing eight teams. The top two teams will secure spots in the quarterfinals, while those finishing third to sixth will participate in the round of 16.

The new Champions League season, commencing the first weekend of September, marks Buducnost’s 30th appearance in this prestigious competition in Europe.
