This summer, Podgorica will serve as the European capital for junior handball categories, as announced by the Handball Federation of Montenegro.
During July and August, Montenegro’s capital will be the venue for top junior and cadet female athletes from across Europe.
The European Women’s Junior Championship (U19) kicks off on July 24th, featuring 19 national teams.
Following that, the European Championship for Cadets (U17), with 24 participating teams, is set to begin on July 30th.
Matches will be held in three venues: SC “Mtel dvorana Morača,” “Bemax arena,” and “Verde.”
Podgorica will welcome over 600 players and coaching staff, alongside more than 100 officials from the EHF.
