Budva Claims Bronze at the Second Veteran Water Polo Tournament
Last weekend, the II International Veterans Water Polo Tournament took place in Budva, featuring 35 matches over two days.
The event included 14 teams and saw participation from 180 athletes hailing from Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, North Macedonia, and Montenegro.
Sabac emerged as the champion, with four out of the six top teams coming from Montenegro. Budva claimed the bronze, while Jadran secured fourth place, followed by Bijela in fifth and Budva Max Bet in sixth.
“The two days of thrilling water polo and wonderful camaraderie at the ‘Dragan Trifunovic’ swimming pool made this tournament one of the standout events in our city recently. Securing victory over Jadran in the medal competition after a dramatic turnaround is undoubtedly one of the greatest achievements for VKV Budva since its inception,” stated Budva.
