Mark Djokaj and Petar Vujovic Convert Penalty Kicks
The Montenegrin cadet national team secured a victory against Azerbaijan in their second friendly encounter.
The “Falcons” displayed an improved performance, achieving a 2:1 win after suffering a defeat (1:0) just two days prior.
Both of our team’s goals were netted from penalty kicks, with Mark Đokaj and Petar Vujović scoring from the spot, while Samir Sahirov found the net for the opposing side.
“Like the first match, tonight’s game was also quite physically taxing. We were the superior team, created many opportunities, hit the post and the crossbar, though we did concede a goal from just two shots. Nonetheless, it’s encouraging that we experienced a strong rhythm and considerable pressure during the game. We look forward to how things will unfold when the competitive season begins,” reflected coach Radovan Kavaja.
