Today, the editorial team of Television N1 received a threatening letter referencing the massacre of 12 employees from the French satirical magazine “Charlie Hebdo,” which occurred a decade ago.

The letter was sent from Post Office 11180 at Belgrade’s Nikola Tesla Airport, according to the television’s portal.

The correspondence reportedly demands that the recipients cease their “anti-Serbian campaign and inflammatory propaganda, as it offends the patriotic sentiments of the Serbian people,” as stated by the N1 portal.

According to the portal, the letter was signed by a “Serbian patriot” and written “partly in Latin, partly in Cyrillic.”

It further stated, “If you are uncomfortable living here or feel unfortunate to be born as a Serb, rather than as some ‘gifted’ individual, you are welcome to change your name, surname, place of residence, religion, etc.”
