Lauri Markkanen is one of the standout players as EuroBasket approaches. The Finnish national team athlete continues to impress, delivering another strong performance against Poland today.

In an away game, Finland triumphed over Poland with a score of 97:88. Markkanen contributed significantly, scoring 24 points in 42 minutes (7/10 from the field and 19/20 at the free-throw line), along with 12 rebounds and three blocks.

During the preseason, Markkanen has been a force to be reckoned with, netting 48 and 31 points in two matches against Belgium.

Finland is set to co-host the upcoming championship. Group B, which will take place in Tampere, includes teams from Montenegro, Lithuania, Germany, Sweden, and Great Britain.

Finland will face Montenegro in the third round, scheduled for August 30th.
