Car Strikes Two Doctors at Roadblock on Palmotićeva Street

During a fifteen-minute period of silence, two doctors were struck by a vehicle. They are currently in stable condition, and law enforcement is present at the scene.

The Green Left Front shared a video that depicts a woman being struck by a vehicle.

According to their statement, the car has been stopped, and the police are currently managing the situation.

As has occurred in recent weeks, medical professionals from the Mental Health Institute in Palmotićevo gathered today at 11:52 AM to honor the victims in Novi Sad. During this 15-minute silence, a car drove onto the street and collided with two doctors at high speed, as reported by N1.

A doctor from the institute, who preferred to remain anonymous, shared with Nova.rs, “The vehicle did not halt and collided with a psychiatrist and a young resident. Thankfully, they are stable. The police arrived immediately to find out what transpired. We are physicians who address the mental well-being of our patients; who will support us now as we are filled with shock and anxiety?”

The Freedom and Justice Party also shared a video on Twitter of a car with Smederevo license plates containing two young men, alleging that they were involved in hitting the doctors.
