Montenegrin Karate Practitioners Secure Five Additional Medals in Poland

The Montenegrin karate team concluded the second day of the European Cadet, Junior, and Young Senior Championships held in Poland by securing five bronze medals.
The recipients of the bronze medals include younger seniors Balša Vojinović and Helena Backović, alongside juniors Una Raković and Jovana Damjanović, who excelled in their respective fights, as well as the men’s cadet-junior kata team.
The team consisted of Benjamin Aljošević, Aleksa Janjić, Ajsel Gershwitz, and Aleksa Barjaktarović.
The women’s cadet-junior kata team, comprising Viktorija Raičević, Mia Ramović, and Katarina Vlahović, finished in fifth place, just missing out on a medal after a loss in the match for third.
In addition, juniors Jusuf Saljiu and Vuk Vučinić were halted in the repechage, ultimately finishing in seventh place, along with junior senior Dušan Bijelić and junior Nađa Boričić, who placed ninth in their fights.
On the previous day, junior Katarina Vlahović captured a bronze in kata.
