Siblings Arrested After Altercation: Sister Strikes Brother

The police in Podgorica have apprehended MS (55) on charges of violent conduct and SS (55) on allegations of domestic violence.

According to the Police Directorate’s announcement, the Podgorica Security Department received reports of a physical altercation in a public space involving SS (62) on one side and MS (55) alongside SS (55) on the other, with the use of suitable means.

It was noted that SS (62) incurred serious physical injuries during the incident.

“Emergency medical assistance was provided to the individuals, after which statements were taken. The police determined that MS inflicted a blow to the head of the injured party SS (62) with a suitable object, subsequently pushing and dragging him to the ground. SS (55) was also reported to have struck his brother, SS (62), in the leg with a suitable object, leading to serious bodily injury,” the police stated.

Following a directive from the prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor’s Office in Podgorica, a criminal complaint has been filed against SS (55) who was arrested on suspicion of committing domestic violence or violence within a family unit, while MS was arrested on suspicion of engaging in violent behavior.
