Increased Number of Blocked Companies on the Latest List

The Central Bank (CBCG) has released an updated list of companies with blocked accounts, now featuring six additional companies compared to the last update.

This latest list, which the CBCG issues on a monthly basis in compliance with the Law on Payment Transactions, identifies a total of 20.91 companies from the Central Register of Business Entities (CRPS) and the CBCG records. Among these, 3.46 thousand are noted in the CBCG’s records but are absent from the CRPS.

According to the Law on Payment Transactions, the CBCG is mandated to disclose information related to forced collection procedures, which includes the names of the companies or entrepreneurs, their registration numbers, the amounts in the blocked accounts, and the duration of the block without interruption.

The CBCG clarified that the ID numbers for entrepreneurs are not disclosed, as they are maintained in the Central Register of Transaction Accounts under the unique ID number (JMB) of citizens, which cannot be published in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act.

The CBCG makes this information available once a month on its website, specifically on the first working day following the end of the month, presenting a cross-section of data as of the last day of the month, organized in alphabetical order by the names of the companies and entrepreneurs.

Since the inception of data publication by the CBCG in July 2012 up until January 9, 2014, the information was released in line with earlier regulations. During this period, data was published for companies or entrepreneurs when account blocking exceeded ten thousand EUR and continued for more than 30 days.

The company names can be found on the CBCG’s website, www.cbcg.me, ensuring full impartiality by listing them alphabetically.
