Jadran and Primorac meet once more—following two previous seasons—in the fight for the championship title during the final of the domestic playoff.
The first match of this best-of-three series is set for tomorrow (Thursday, 7:00 PM) in Herceg Novi.
“I believe that the team is motivated and prepared both physically and mentally. An intense match is ahead of us. Every final is thrilling, especially when the title is on the line in the Bokele derby,” stated Jadran captain Martin Gardašević.
The team from Herceg Novi aims for its eighth consecutive title, while the club from Kotor seeks its third title, the first since 2008.
“We have done everything possible to prepare thoroughly, despite facing issues like injuries and illness among some players,” remarked Primorje captain Marko Gopčević.
He emphasized that this final represents a chance to salvage the season.
“Indeed, we were relegated to the second Adriatic League and missed out on the Cup. This situation will motivate us to finish the season positively. We will give our all, even though Jadran is the favorite,” Gopčević concluded.
The final series will be played in a best-of-five format, with hosts alternating. The second match is set for May 1 in Kotor, followed by the third match three days later in Herceg Novi.
If necessary, the fourth (Kotor) and fifth (Herceg Novi) matches will take place on May 8 and 11, respectively.
