URA’s Main Board Nominates Abazović for President and Establishes Deputy President Role
During a meeting of the Main Board of the Civic Movement URA, the candidacy of Dritan Abazović for the role of party president for the upcoming four-year term was officially approved, pending a vote by delegates at the forthcoming congress.
The URA GP also announced the endorsement of proposed candidates for the vice president positions during this meeting.
“In this regard, the municipal committees have put forward Ana Novaković Đurović, Milena Vuković, and Blažo Rađenović as candidates for vice president,” the announcement stated.
As part of the proposed amendments to the Statute, a new position of deputy party president has been introduced, while the vice presidency can accommodate a maximum of four individuals.
The fourth regular congress of GP URA is scheduled to take place on July 5th at Lovćen.
In addition to the amendments to the Statute, the Main Board session also approved the list of delegates for the upcoming congress and appointed members to the Verification and Statutory Commissions, the Working Presidency, and the Supervisory Board.
