According to reports from English media, Sunderland Football Club has confirmed the sale of their young talent, Job Bellingham, to the German side Borussia Dortmund.
Sources indicate that the newly promoted Premier League club received a payment of approximately 33 million euros, with additional bonuses reaching around five million euros.
The agreement also stipulates a 15 percent share of any future transfer fees for the 19-year-old forward.
This deal marks the highest transfer fee in Sunderland’s history, a significant achievement for the club that secured promotion to the Premier League with Bellingham’s contributions after an eight-year absence.
Excluding bonuses, Job Bellingham will rank as Borussia Dortmund’s second-most expensive acquisition.
Notably, his older brother, Jude Bellingham, was a part of the same club, having spent three seasons at Dortmund before transitioning to Real Madrid.
Following in his sibling’s footsteps, Job Bellingham developed through the youth academy at Birmingham, transferring to Sunderland in 2023.
