United Group BV announces that Dragan Šolak, through his owned companies along with his former management team, has submitted a claim to the Chamber of Commerce of the Court of Appeal in Amsterdam. This claim challenges the non-renewal of the consulting contract with United Group and claims there have been delays in payments to his companies, including dividends, as reported by United Group today.
The company asserts that these demands are solely in Šolak’s personal interest and do not represent the interests of United Group.
“In his request to the Dutch court, Šolak has sought urgent measures, claiming there is a ‘serious management crisis’ within the company,” the statement elaborates.
United Group BV has categorically dismissed his claims and allegations, clarifying to the court that there are no grounds for urgent review of the case.
“The current management at the company is more than capable of leading United Group. The new CEO, Mr. Stan Miller, and Deputy CEO, Mr. Libor Vončina, bring extensive management experience from the telecommunications and media sectors. The Commercial Chamber of the Court of Appeal in Amsterdam has rejected Šolak’s request for urgent consideration. A hearing is anticipated to be scheduled for October or November 2025. United Group is confident in the proceedings’ outcome and the dismissal of Šolak’s claims,” the United Group statement concluded.
