The Youth Water Polo Team Dominates Australia
The young water polo national team had a fantastic start at the tournament in Belgrade, as the squad led by Petar Radanović triumphed over Australia with a score of 11:3 today.
Jovan Vujović was the standout player for the Montenegrin national team, netting four goals.
Marko Mršić contributed two goals, while Danilo Stupar, Strahinja Gojković, Lazar Vukićević, Matija Sladović, and Srđan Janović each scored once.
The “Ajkule” will face off in two matches tomorrow—against Croatia at 9:30 AM and Hungary at 8:00 PM.
Additionally, there are two games scheduled for Monday, against Serbia at 12:00 PM and the USA at 6:45 PM.
This tournament in Belgrade serves as the final preparation before the World Championship, which takes place from June 10-18 in Bucharest and Otopeni, Romania.
The young team will compete in a group with Spain, Italy, and Croatia at the World Championship.
