Following the dismissal of Sports Facilities Ltd. director Aleksandar Vučković, the people of Podgorica will have to pay the interim director a minimum of 50 thousand euros in severance, stated Andrija Klikovac, leader of the Democratic Party of Socialists’ councilors in the city.
“This likely stems from his mismanagement that nearly drove the company into bankruptcy,” he remarked in a social media post on platform X.
“Observe the disgraceful Article 10 of the employment contract—this is the reward for directors who fail to act,” Klikovac commented, sharing the text of that specific contract article.
Moreover, with Vučković’s exit, further information regarding the contract with M:tel for the branding of the Morača Sports Center is expected to be revealed.
“The contract should not remain confidential. It is essential to uncover who profited from M:tel, all at the expense of Podgorica’s citizens,” concluded the DPS councilor.
The Board of Directors of “Sports Facilities” has recommended the Capital City Assembly to dismiss the current director, Aleksandar Vučković.
They indicated that the dismissal is warranted due to the failure to approve the annual report on the company’s operations.
The Capital City Assembly councilors will deliberate this matter in a session scheduled for July 3rd.
