A 38-year-old Serbian citizen, IR, residing temporarily in Bar, has been sentenced to 60 days in prison for refusing a drug test, as announced by the Budva Minor Offences Court.

Reportedly, the judge on duty, Dubravka Mažić, issued the sentence on Wednesday after it was established that IR declined to take a drug test when stopped by traffic patrol, and was also found to be driving without a valid driver’s license.

Along with the prison sentence, IR has been banned from driving for four months. As a foreign national, he was taken to the Directorate for the Execution of Criminal Sanctions prior to the decision being finalized, according to the statement.
